The Hermann H. Heiser Saddlery Co. of Denver, Colorado was established in 1874 during the height of the Old West, and for the next 80 years, they were world renowned for producing top of the line leather saddles, pistol holsters, and gun belts. This Vintage 1940s H.H. Heiser #426 H&R 922 6" Revolver Laced Leather Pistol Holster is in Very Good Condition, with only some scattered scratching, darkening, and age wear evident. Most interestingly, it’s crafted in the classic “rawhide laced loop” design, which is stitched to a folded over half skirt that also acts as the belt slide, bears the model of revolver and barrel length for which it was intended, “HR 922 / 6” (the classic Harrington & Richardson 922 .22 LR plinker pistol of the 1930s), scratched by the factory into the middle back, and is stamped at the lower reverse with the traditional “triple H” centered maker’s logo of the famous "HEISER DENVER", along with the model number, "426". It’s crafted of tough brown leather, and is a fine example of a rare, original Vintage 1940s H.H. Heiser #426 H&R 922 6" Revolver Laced Leather Pistol Holster.
