Good to Very Good Condition. Two small chips in the middle blade edge. Some cleaning, scratching, and pitting to the 32.25" upswept bright blade. Moderate fading to the maker's mark at the ricasso. Some scuffing to the leather grip, which has lost all but two strands of the "twisted" brass wire wrapping. Dated 1863. Classic brass "D" guard. Complete with the original metal sheath.
