Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: The revolver retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish is strong and complete throughout. There is little to no handling or operational wear. There is a thin light turn line on the cylinder. The markings remain clear. The screwheads are sharp. Overall, the revolver is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The single action trigger is crisp. The cylinder locks with no play on each chamber. We did not fire this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Uberti Stoeger Cattleman Cody is a handsome modern rendition of the Colt 1873 Single Action Army pattern, chambered in the classic .45 Colt cartridge and fitted with a desirable 4.75” barrel. The revolver has strong Old West appeal, pairing a bright nickel-plated finish with fire-blue screws and base pin, a one-piece simulated ivory grip, fixed sights, loading gate, and ejector rod. The result is a sharp-looking single-action revolver with the familiar balance and profile of the Peacemaker-style “Cattleman” series, made even more attractive by its high-polish presentation and contrasting small parts.
This 2014-production example remains in Excellent condition, retaining about 99% of its original metal finish with little to no handling or operational wear, only a thin light turn line on the cylinder, sharp screw heads, clear markings, and an excellent simulated ivory grip free of chips or cracks. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no erosion, rating 10/10 in this writer’s opinion, and the action functions correctly with a crisp single-action trigger and solid lockup on each chamber.
