Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass post fixed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a notch in the nose of the hammer, visible when cocked.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is one piece smooth wood. The grip has no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. Overall, the grip is in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore, there is stubborn dried grease from the packaging. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates 10 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. There is scattered dried grease from the packaging. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes in a Uberti box with serial-matching label and factory paperwork including manual.

Our Assessment: This is an Italian reproduction Model 1851 Navy made in 2010. The Colt Navy was designed as a heavier, more robust version of the earlier Colt Pocket revolver. It has a six shot cylinder and a 7.5” octagonal barrel. The revolver features a case colored frame, a blued steel barrel, and the grip is made of one-piece walnut. The barrel is marked "LONDON" and, consistent with the 1851 Navy revolvers produced at Colt's London Armoury, it has a steel trigger guard rather than brass. This is a great reproduction of a British-American classic firearm that holds true to the markings and dimensions of an original Colt Navy. The revolver doesn't appear to have seen much use, if any, and should be a fine shooter with either round ball or conicals!
