Sights/Optics: The front sight is a fiber optic bead integral to a serrated base screwed into the barrel. The rear sight is an adjustable u-notch with two fiber optic dots screwed into the barrel. The top of the receiver has a rail section ready to mount an optic, though none is present.
Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is one piece wood with a raised comb, smooth pistol grip, shelved forend, and a smooth synthetic buttpad. The buttpad has little to no handling wear. The furniture has light scratches scattered throughout. The LOP measures 14.25" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in Very Good Plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with light fouling and streaking. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its original finish. The finish shows no notable marks other than a light turn line on the cylinder. The screw heads are unmarred and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in Fair to Good condition (see mechanics section).
Mechanics: The action DOES NOT function correctly. The cylinder pawl is not fully catching the cylinder and can turn freely clockwise. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Taurus Circuit Judge was manufactured between 2009 and the present and is a unique revolving rifle based on the popular Judge revolver platform. Produced by Taurus, the Circuit Judge combines a revolving cylinder action with a shoulder stock and 18.5 inch barrel, allowing the use of both .45 Colt cartridges and .410 Bore shotshells. Its dual-caliber capability and distinctive design have made it popular for recreational shooting and field use.
Chambered for .45 Colt and .410 Bore with an 18.5 inch barrel and a five-shot cylinder, this rifle offers considerable versatility for small game, pest control, and recreational shooting. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10, indicating excellent internal condition with strong rifling. Mechanically, the action does not function correctly. The cylinder pawl is not fully engaging the cylinder, allowing it to rotate freely in the clockwise direction, and the firearm will require repair before normal operation.
The furniture rates in Very Good Plus condition with light handling wear and attractive presentation. This rifle retains approximately 99% of its original finish, presenting in very high cosmetic condition. However, due to the mechanical issue, the rifle rates in Fair to Good condition overall.
