Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white dot blade dovetailed to the slide. The rear sight is a Two white dot, serrated, rectangular notch Novak Style sight dovetailed to the slide. 3 DOT White.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The polymer grip frame has an aggressive textured finish with adjustable backstrap. There is light handling wear present. The aggressive texturing is still well defined with no notable dulling. This model includes an accessory rail, Ambi Slide catch/release, and no manual thumb safety. The grip / frame rate in Excellent overall condition.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: This pistol includes Three Smith & Wesson 10 round .45 ACP magazines in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion the bore rates 9/10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its finish. The pinheads are unmarred. The markings are clear. There is no wear except light operation wear on top of the barrel hood and the outside of the extractor. Overall, this handgun is in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: Smith & Wesson introduced the M&P45 in 2007 as the .45 ACP member of its then-new polymer-framed Military & Police pistol family, combining a striker-fired action, interchangeable palmswell system, ambidextrous slide stop, reversible magazine release, and stainless-steel slide and barrel treated with a black Melonite finish. The 4" configuration represented the more compact mid-size version of the original M&P45, and factory specifications identify SKU 109307 specifically as the black, no-thumb-safety model with a 10-round magazine capacity. Smith & Wesson listed this exact configuration with a 2007 launch date.

This example remains in Excellent condition, retaining about 99% of its original finish with only light operational wear at the barrel hood and extractor. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and rates 9/10, while the polymer frame and grip surfaces show only light handling wear. The action functions correctly, and the pistol is accompanied by its factory hard case, owner's manual, and three Smith & Wesson 10-round magazines.
