Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There are no signs of erosion. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 75% of its original metal finish. There is softening of the bluing, particularly at the leading edges, with some areas of finish fading from handling and use. The hammer has been bobbed, indicating a likely modification for smoother draw or double-action-only operation. The screw heads are lightly tooled but remain serviceable, and the markings remain sharp. Overall, this revolver rates in about very good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks up tightly, and the trigger pull is smooth. The bobbed hammer suggests a modification for carry or duty use. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
