Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON". The left side of the frame has the Smith & Wesson logo. The right side of the barrel is marked "22 LONG RIFLE CTG". The right side of the frame is marked "MADE IN USA, MARCAS REGISTRADAS, SMITH & WESSON, SPRINGFIELD, MASS." The left side of the frame, above the trigger guard, is marked "MODEL 41". The front strap is marked with the serial number "TFS0635".

Barrel Length:5 1/2”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an undercut partridge fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a micrometer click adjustable target sight dovetailed to the barrel.

Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered wood target grips with a thumb rest. There is light handling wear with a few small marks. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light handling wear and minor operational wear. There are minor scratches and scuffs present, particularly on the sides of the slide. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings are clear and well-defined. Overall, this pistol rates in about Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
