Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade integral to the barrel. The rear sight is a square notch in the topstrap.
Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered walnut Magna stocks with S&W medallions. The grips are serial matched. There are handling marks and a few little marks through the finish. The checkering is sharp. The grips rate in about Fine Plus overall condition.
Type of Finish: Blued with Black Alloy
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion and for the age, the bore rates a 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are a couple light handling marks and a faint drag line on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a more thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: A serial number matching box, with paperwork including the manual, bristle brush, and cleaning rod is provided.
