Sights/Optics: The front sight is a tritium dot dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is an MMC adjustable combat sight with tritium lamps. The tritium lamps still glow dimly.

Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The Crimson Trace grip is a one piece wrap-around textured black polymer. The grips show light wear with a few small scratches on the backstrap. There are no chips or cracks. This furniture rates in Fine condition. The laser still functions properly.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with stubborn fouling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is light handling wear present. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This pistol presents in Excellent overall condition, retaining approximately 99% of its original finish. The exterior surfaces are clean and evenly finished with minimal handling evidence, and the Elite trim gives the pistol a refined, performance oriented appearance within the classic P226 profile. The all metal frame and slide provide excellent balance and recoil control, and the pistol carries the solid, confidence inspiring feel for which the P226 platform is known.

Mechanically, the pistol is outstanding. The bore rates a very good 9.5 out of 10 with bright steel and sharp rifling. The action functions correctly with smooth double action and single action operation and positive decocking. This compliant configuration includes a loaded chamber indicator and magazine disconnect safety, features required for roster compliance. The pistol is fitted with Crimson Trace laser grips, adding an integrated aiming aid while preserving the factory grip geometry and ergonomics.
