Sights/Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade pinned into a base fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is an adjustable elevation u-notch dovetailed into the barrel. The receiver has a pair of filled taps for mounting an aperture sight. No aperture is included. There are also a pair of filled taps through the barrel roll marks.
Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The refinished furniture is two piece wood with a smooth straight wrist grip, straight comb, smooth schnabel forend, and a serrated metal buttplate. The buttplate shows patina and edge wear. The furniture shows pressure dings, light scratches, and streaks from the resin running while drying. The toe is cracked and starting to chip. The LOP measures 13" from the face of the trigger to the buttplate. The furniture rates in Very Good condition.

Finish Originality: Nonoriginal, shows cold blue touchup
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with stubborn fouling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This firearm retains about 85% of its nonoriginal metal finish. The finish shows edge wear, oxidation spots on the receiver, light scratches, and cold blue applied to the top of the barrel. The case color on the lever has faded some. The screw heads range from unmarred to lightly tooled and retain turnable slots. The markings are fairly clear and complete. Overall, this firearm rates in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
