Sights/Optics: The front sight is a metal bead fixed atop the rib, there is a mid-bead part way down the rib.

Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is two piece wood with a straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip, checkered forend, and a serrated synthetic buttplate. The buttplate shows light handling wear and does not fit flush with the wood. The furniture shows light scratches, pressure digs, and spots of varnish loss. The LOP measures 13.75" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There is a faint crack running from the upper tang and a notable nick on the right side of the forend. The furniture rates in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright with faint streaking. There is no erosion in the bores. In this writer's opinion, the bores rate 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 80% of its original metal finish. The finish shows thinning, edge wear, scattered scratches, and some small spots of oxidation. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this shotgun rates in Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Savage Fox Model B-ST was manufactured in 1965 and qualifies as a Curio and Relic shotgun.
