Markings: The right side of the frame is marked “58-06317”. The left side of the frame is marked “RUGER VAQUERO / .357 MAG. CAL.”. The left of the barrel is marked with a safety warning address.     

 Barrel Length: 3 3/4”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade fixed to the barrel, the rear sight is a square notch in the top strap.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two piece smooth white synthetic panels with Ruger logos. There are some light scratches and scuffs. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the grips are in Very Good to Fine condition.  

Type of Finish: Stainless Steel

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore, but there is some stubborn fouling in the grooves toward the back end of the barrel. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10. 

Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 96% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light handling and operation wear. There are scratches and minor scuffs. There are fire marks on the face of the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp, the pins are undamaged. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in Very Good-Fine condition.  

Mechanics: The actions function correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
