Markings: The receiver is marked "RUGER / MINI THIRTY / CAL. 7.62 X 39." The left side of the receiver has factory warning text that reads, "BEFORE USING GUN – READ MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM / STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. / SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A." The serial number "189-55453" is stamped on the receiver.

Barrel Length: 18 1/2”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed blade. The rear sight is a u-notch with a aperture sight screwed to it. The right wing of the sight is missing.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece hardwood stock with a pistol grip, straight comb, handguard, and a polymer crescent buttplate. There is very light handling and operational wear throughout. There are no cracks or chips. The LOP measures approximately 12 1/2” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: Three detachable steel magazines, each holding 5 rounds, in excellent condition with handling wear.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore but there is stubborn fouling throughout. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows operational and handling wear. The receiver has some minor scuffs and wear near the markings. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle includes three 5-round magazines and a small bag with additional parts, including a bolt lock plunger and a lightening secondary sear spring.
