Sights/Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade screwed to a raised base. The rear sight is a v-notch with two flip up u-notch sights for elevation adjustment. The top of the receiver has two points to mount Ruger scope rings. The top of the receiver is serrated to reduce glare. No optic is included.

Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is one piece wood with a straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip, checkered forend, and a textured synthetic buttpad. The buttpad has minimal handling wear. The furniture has only some minor pressure dings. The LOP measures 13.5" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in Fine Plus to Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with light fouling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its original finish. There is a notable scratch on the left side of the barrel, just forward of the rear sight base. There is another smaller scratch on the left side of the chamber. The screw heads are unmarred and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine Plus condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Ruger M77 Magnum Mark II was manufactured in 2010 and represents one of Ruger's premier dangerous game hunting rifles. Produced by Sturm, Ruger & Co., the M77 Magnum Mark II is built around a controlled-round-feed action with a full-length Mauser-style claw extractor, making it exceptionally well suited for reliable operation under demanding hunting conditions. The Magnum action was specifically engineered to accommodate full-length magnum cartridges such as the .375 H&H Magnum.

In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10, indicating excellent internal condition with strong rifling. The action functions correctly.

The furniture rates in Fine Plus to Excellent condition with little visible handling wear. This rifle retains approximately 98% of its original finish, presenting a very clean and well-maintained appearance.
