Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is two piece wood with a smooth straight wrist grip, straight comb, smooth forend, and a smooth metal buttplate. The buttplate has very light handling wear and does not fit flush. The furniture has a few drag lines and pressure dings. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 12.75" from the face of the trigger to the butt. The furniture rates in Very Good Plus condition.

Overall Condition: This firearm retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The finish show only a few minor scratches. The screw heads are unmarred and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this firearm rates in Fine condition.

The Model 92 action is renowned for its strength, compact size, and excellent handling characteristics, making it one of the finest pistol-caliber lever actions ever designed.
Chambered in .44 Magnum with a 20 inch barrel and a 10-round capacity, this rifle is equally at home as a hunting arm, trail rifle, or recreational shooter. The .44 Magnum delivers excellent performance on deer-sized game while also allowing the use of lighter .44 Special loads for economical practice. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10, indicating excellent internal condition with strong rifling. The action functions correctly.
