Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked with the Ranger Point Precision logo and "45 ACP". The serial number is marked on the top tang.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed to a base that is screwed to the barrel. The base is grooved for a hood that is not present. The rear sight is folding "U"-notch elevator sight dovetailed to the rear of the barrel. The left and top of the receiver are drilled, tapped and filled for a peep sight or optic mount (none present).
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are a two-piece smooth walnut with a straight grip, straight comb, checkered Marlin buttplate, and capped forend. A sling stud has been installed in the belly with another mounted to the magazine tube forward of the forend. The LOP measures 13 1/2" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. There are scratches, handling marks, and compression dents throughout. There is even finish loss on both sides of the stock. Both stock and forend are slightly loose and have a little play. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the stocks rate in Good condition.
Type of Finish: Blue, Black KG Gun Kote and KG Dull Brass
Finish Originality: Most finish is original to the parts. The KG Dull Brass parts were refinished by Ranger Point Precision when customized.
Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore, but there is some minor fouling. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. There are light handling marks, scratches, and a infrequent minor oxidation, mostly on the receiver. The action shows operational wear. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good condition as customized.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. Customization includes short-stroke and crossbolt safety delete. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
