Markings: The right side of the mag well is marked, "Made In Germany / HK Inc. Arl. Va.22 201". The left side of the receiver is marked with, "HK 91 A 043395 / Cal. .308" and an "IB" date code with an Ulm proof. The trigger housing is marked, "0 1". The forend is marked, "1IB". The stock is marked, "2IB".
Barrel Length: 18", 19.5" to the end of the flash hider.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded post set into the triple frame. The rear sight is a four-position rotating diopter drum fixed to the receiver. There is a lug and mounting points for an optic/rail built into the receiver.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are three piece polymer with bipod cut handguard, bipod, 3-point sling lug, finger groove pistol grip, and straight dropped comb stock with sling bar and serrated buttplate. There are scattered faint handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14.75" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. Overall this furniture set is in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The chrome-lined bore is bright and the rifling is pronounced. There is faint erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are some scattered light scratches and handling marks. The top of the receiver has wear marks on the scope mounts. The action has light operational wear. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good-Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. The bolt gap is 0.006".

This example presents in Very Good-Fine overall condition, retaining approximately 97 percent of its original black enamel finish, a strong chrome-lined bore and good mechanics. The polymer furniture set, including the bipod-cut handguard with attached bipod, show minimal signs of use. The rifle is equipped with the classic HK sighting system, featuring a hooded front post and rotating diopter rear drum, providing a precise and repeatable sight picture.
