Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded beaded blade dovetailed to a serrated, ramped base fixed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a u-notch elevator sight dovetailed to the barrel. The notch is fine adjustable for elevation. The left side of the receiver is drilled, tapped, and filled for a receiver sight, none present.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece smooth wood with banded forend, straight grip, straight comb, and checkered steel buttplate. The stocks have some scattered marks, nicks, scratches, and compressions. There are no cracks. There are a few minor surface chips at the toe. The LOP measures 13" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. Overall, the stocks are in about Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is very minor surface corrosion a few inches from the muzzle. There is no erosion. In this writer's opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 93% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish is strong throughout. There is thinning on the leading edges and at the muzzle. There are few minor handling marks and very faint intermittent oxidation. The action shows operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The rifle has a half-cock safety and a lever safety. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Winchester Model 94 carbine, manufactured in 1960, represents a late pre-64 era example of one of America’s most enduring sporting rifles. Chambered in .32 Winchester Special and fitted with a 20 inch barrel, this configuration reflects Winchester’s continued support of the .32 W.S. cartridge for hunters who favored heavier bullets and traditional handloading practices. By the early 1960s, the Model 94 had reached a high level of refinement, retaining classic lines and materials just prior to the major production changes that followed in the mid 1960s.
Condition is a defining strength of this rifle, with the metal retaining approximately 93% of its original blue finish and only minor handling marks present and some thinning on the high edges. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and shows no erosion, and the action functions correctly with both half cock and lever safeties operating as intended. The stocks remain solid and well preserved, showing only light, age appropriate wear. Overall, this is a high condition pre-64 Winchester Model 94 that cleanly illustrates the quality and finish of early 1960s production in a classic and increasingly sought after chambering.
