Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a white dot fixed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a white-outlined square notch dovetailed to the rear of the slide.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is integral to the frame with texturing on the sides and "grenade" checkering on the front and back straps. The grip has no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. Overall, the grip is in Excellent condition.

Type of Finish: Black Parkerized & Black Polymer Frame

Finish Originality: Original, numbers match.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with well defined rifling. There is no erosion in the bore, but there is some stubborn fouling. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 8-9 out of 10.

Overall Condition: The pistol retains about 95% of its metal finish. There are some scattered minor nicks and scuffs. The action shows light operational wear. The markings are clear. Overall, the pistol is in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a single 17-round magazine.

Our Assessment: Produced as a commemorative for the (presumably Glock-armed) security team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, this Glock 17 is one of the somewhat uncommon limited edition Glocks. While there were 2,000 of these pistols made, it's actually just uncommon to find a limited edition Glock as company hasn't done that many commemorative/special editions. This one appears to have seen limited and responsible use. It will be a nice find for the Glock collectors, but it is also a Glock 17, "perfection". Good luck on your bid!
