The name Winchester has been synonymous with finely crafted American firearms since 1866. This Modern Made 18” Winchester Ammunition Porcelain On Steel Double Sided Flanged Advertising Sign is in very good condition, with some scattered spots of chipping and patina at front, at back, and around the edges, and with some scattered wear evident. Otherwise, the sign is in fine shape, with no other damage to the tough porcelain on steel construction. Most interestingly, it’s double sided with a flanged mounting bracket carrying 5 holes along the right side, measures 18” in diameter, and boasts a striking design on both sides of red, orange, black, and white, with the classic “galloping frontiersmen” logo across the upper portions, “racing stripes” behind him, and “WINCHESTER / AMMUNITION” across the lower portions.
