Maas & Steffen Co. 1945 Calendar Top Artwork By Ralph Carlyle Prather "The Surprise Attack" This lithograph calendar top captures the heart pounding moments of a tapper in deep snow with a lynx jumping out of the tree to attack, great color image, artist Ralph Carlyle Prather. This item is set in a blonde oak frame measuring 22" by 16". The artwork inside still retains vibrant color despite a faint yellowing from age. The left edge has 3 small semicircular tears down the edge. Overall this item is in good condition and would be an excellent piece for the vintage advertising collector.
