Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade pinned to a raised rib atop the barrel. The rear sight is a fully adjustable square notch sight, screwed to the top strap. There are two drilled and tapped holes in the top strap under the rear sight base for scope options.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a one piece contoured laminated wood grip with finger grooves, a maple spacer, and walnut cap. There are no rips or tears in the rubber, and there is no notable wear on the grip. The grip is in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. There is heavy carbon fouling in the muzzle and on the front face of the cylinder. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 95% of its finish. The balance of the finish shows operational wear. There is a thin visible turn line on the cylinder. The case color on the hammer and trigger has somewhat muted. There are scattered minor scuffs and minor handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions as intended. The timing is Excellent. The cylinder has strong lock up on all 6 chambers with barely perceptible play. The double action trigger is smooth. The single action trigger is exceptional with no overtravel. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

The revolver retains about 95% of its original stainless finish with light operational wear, a thin cylinder turn line, scattered minor scuffs, and clear markings.

The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no visible erosion, though there is heavy carbon fouling at the muzzle and cylinder face; in this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 8/10. Mechanically, the action functions as intended with excellent timing, strong lockup on all six chambers, a smooth double-action pull, and an exceptional single-action trigger.
