Very Good Condition, measuring 20” x 12” and having been finely “gallery wrap” framed, with the canvas stretched over and tacked to the edges of the old brown hardwood stretcher bar. It depicts a horseback rider in the foreground, a barn in the background, a copse of trees on both sides, and a heavy blanket of snow on every surface in the tableau. The colors are muted, concomitant with the barren landscape. The piece is unsigned, and thusthe identity of the artist remains unknown, but this is a well executed work of art.
