This lot consists of two vintage Heddon fishing rods including a Heddon Deluxe #35 split bamboo fly rod and a Heddon Pal #751 steel casting rod. Heddon was among the premier American fishing tackle makers of the early and mid-20th century, producing a wide variety of quality bamboo, fiberglass, and steel rods sought after by collectors and traditional anglers alike.

The first rod is a Heddon Deluxe #35 split bamboo fly rod in a three-piece configuration measuring approximately 9 feet in overall length. Included is a cloth storage bag and an additional tip section. The rod features traditional split bamboo construction with wrapped guides, cork grip, and metal ferrules. One of the tip sections is broken. The cork grip shows notable wear and damage near the butt end. The cloth bag shows staining, handling wear, and age-related discoloration.

The second rod is a Heddon Pal #751 two-piece steel casting rod. Included is the original storage tube. The rod retains its cork grip, wrapped guides, and period hardware. The storage tube shows ripping and wear near the opening along with scattered age and handling wear.
