Very Good Condition. Some light scattered brownish soiling to the corners of the print. Measures 19.5” x 15.5” in a 24.5” x 20.25” brown hardwood frame. Features a great image of “Black Thunder” in full Native American garb at front. Black Thunder was a medicine man of the Rosebud Sioux, and was with Sitting Bull when they defeated Custer and the 7th Cavalry at the Little Bighorn in 1876. In the early 1900s, Black Thunder traveled with Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. Carries “Copyright by / F.W. GLASIER ‘08.” at the lower right hand front, and “PUBLISHED BY F.W. GLASIER & CO. BROCKTON, MASS. U.S.A.” printed at the lower left hand front corner, though this particular print likely dates to the ca. 1960s-1970s.
