Very Good Condition. A bit of rounding to the blade tip. Some light scratching and a bit of spot patina at each side of the blade. Some light patina to the guard and pommel. Elegant 8 3/4" bright double edge dagger blade with the classic SA motto "Alles für Deutschland" (translating to "All for Germany") crisply etched along the left side. Classic nickel plated guard, pommel, and pommel nut. Etched at the reverse ricasso with the circular "RZM" mark and the maker’s code "M7/13" of Arthur Schuttelhofer. The RZM marking dates manufacture to ca. 1936-1943. Beautiful reddish brown hardwood handle with the traditional German national eagle inset in inverted fashion at the middle left side and the familiar SA enameled roundel inset in inverted fashion at the lower left side. Complete with an original German WW2 NSKK Black Painted Steel Scabbard in Very Good Condition, with some overall light scratching and spot patina. Retains approximately 90% of the original black painted finish. Exhibits the original bright nickel plated metal throat and end tip.
