Full Correct Sealed Box Remington Arms-Union Metallic Cartridge Co. .38 Long Colt Collectible Ammunition
This a red ball box with UMC address and with the callout ".38 Colt Smokeless", Central Fire Cartridges. Additional callout on the side label "These smokeless powder cartridges are expressly adapted to the .38 Colt Double Action Revolvers". They Being made according to our special directions. We strongly recommend them for use in these arms". There is a picture of the round and "Rem-UMC" headstamp.This a very clean box with just a little fraying on the corners. This box is circa 1911-1914.
