Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “FREEDOM ARMS, FREEDOM, WYO. USA .454 CASULL.” The left side of the frame is marked “PAT. 4228607 / 4126953.” The bottom of the frame is marked with the serial number “D7492.”

Barrel Length: 7.5” with Factory Porting

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramp with an orange insert. The rear sight is a fixed notch in the top strap. Mounted atop the revolver is a Leupold scope, marked “N8-2X Extended Eye Relief.” The glass is clear, and the scope is in Excellent condition, providing superior accuracy for long-range shooting.

Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are rosewood, featuring a rich color with a smooth, high-quality finish. They are in Excellent condition with no significant wear.

Cylinder: This revolver features a non-fluted six-shot cylinder. There is minimal indication of use, with no significant wear visible.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore.  In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its finish. The balance of the finish shows only the lightest handling marks, indicative of careful use. The screw heads are sharp. The markings remain crisp and clear. Overall, this revolver rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
