This print depicts several men, weary from a long successful day of quail hunting waiting and getting ready to have their sportsman's credentials inspected by the local game warden, all while their trusty hunting dogs eagerly wait to board the coming train. All while a case of Western 2 5/8" 12 gauge ammo is subtly placed in the background. This image is most notable as the Calendar top for the Western Ammunition advertisement calendars. This canvas print is presented in a gold bordered wooden frame measuring 25" by 20". The print itself does have a few minor scratches in the lower right corner as well as some evidence of being previously rolled or wrinkled in the lower center area, just under the central hound. Overall this item is in good condition and would make a fine addition to the rustic décor or the vintage Western cartridge company advertisement collector.
