Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is a two-piece wood stock set, with a checkered semi-pistol grip, straight comb, Browning synthetic recoil pad, and a checkered forend. The LOP measures 14.25" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The furniture shows light wear with scattered surface scratches and pressure dings. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the furniture rates in Very Good Plus condition.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The finish shows some light surface scratches and some oxidation beneath the rib. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this shotgun rates in Very Good Plus condition.

Our Assessment: This FN Browning B-80, serial number 471PT03730, was manufactured in 1986 and represents Browning's gas-operated evolution of the classic sporting semi-automatic shotgun. Produced under the Browning name with manufacturing by FN Herstal, the B-80 departed from the long-recoil Auto-5 system and adopted a modern gas system for reduced recoil impulse and smoother cycling.
