This lot features a grouping of vintage fishing tackle including a Sunnybrook Union Hardware Company fishing reel and several classic American fishing lures from well known makers such as Pflueger, Crusader, and Shakespeare. These pieces represent the style and craftsmanship of mid 20th century fishing tackle and would make a nice addition to a vintage fishing collection or display.

Included in the lot is a Sunnybrook Union Hardware Co. reel. The reel features nickel finished brass construction with a crank handle that retains its original aged grip. The reel shows light wear consistent with age and use but remains a nice example of an early Union Hardware fishing reel.

Also included are several vintage spinner style fishing lures. A Shakespeare spinner lure with feathered treble hook is present along with an unmarked bug shaped lure with red bead spacers and feather dressing. Two Crusader No. 2-9452 Pearl Kidney Trolling lures are included, with one example still mounted to its original cardboard backing card.

Additional Crusader and Pflueger lures are included as well. A Crusader No. 9804 spinner lure is present along with a Pflueger Fly Rod Pippin Wobbler No. 8707 Size 1 1/4 that remains mounted to its original cardboard backing. Three additional Pflueger spinner lures are included consisting of a size 4 example, a size 4 3/4 example, and a size 6 example. These lures feature metal spinner blades and feather dressed hooks typical of classic American tackle designs.

Overall the lot shows honest wear from age and handling but remains a very appealing grouping of vintage fishing tackle pieces that display well and reflect a classic era of American sport fishing equipment.
