Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a blade integral to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a notch dovetailed to the rear of the slide.

Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The grips are two-piece checkered black synthetic with "BERETTA" molded into the top of each. The grips have only a few scattered minor marks. The checkering is well defined. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in about Excellent condition.

Type of Finish: Chrome

Finish Originality: Original, numbered parts matching.

Bore Condition: The bore is gray with well defined rifling. There is scattered light erosion and pitting in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 6 out of 10.

Overall Condition: The pistol retains about 96% of its metal finish. There are light handling marks and some minor scuffing. There is some minor freckling in the finish. The action shows minor operational wear. The screw heads are lightly tool marked with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, the handgun is in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box Paperwork and Accessories: The gun comes with a single 8-round magazine.

Our Assessment: The Beretta Model 1935 is in most regards not dissimilar from its predecessor the Model 1934, the greatest distinction being their calibers with the Model 1935 chambering .32 ACP rounds while the Model 1934 fired .380 ACP rounds. The Model 1935 would be produced from 1935 until it was discontinued in 1967 with over half a million made in total. This particular handgun was made in the post-war era, in 1951, and sports a chrome finish with factory engraving. These Beretta pocket pistols have long been popular and this scarce variant will make a great addition to a collection or a classy shooter. Please see our photos and good luck!
