Exquisite Vintage Handmade Jimmy Lile Custom Bowie Knife

This a custom made "Lile Bowie", stainless finish, full tang, overall length 14.75". It has a 9.75" blade with "Hand Made by / James B. Lile" marked on the blade: the distinctive cursive letters indicate this early knife was made between 1971 and 1975. This Bowie knife is in Great shape, the stainless blade shows a few light scratches. The Ivory grips, brass guard, pins and pommel show light wear. The right grip panel shows a few small cracks around the flat pin heads. This knife includes a Hogue soft case and two pages from a book. Mr. Lile got his start by creating the legendary First Blood Knife made for the movie Rambo. Jimmy Lile knives have a great reputation for being amongst the highest quality custom knives ever made, and this Lile Bowie is no exception.
