Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated, ramped blade integral to a base screwed to the barrel. Green paint has been applied to the blade. The rear sight is a square notch adjustable for windage and elevation in a base pinned to the topstrap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece Altamont checkered laminate wood with smooth diamonds around the screw escutcheons and fleur de lis accents. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The checkering is well defined. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition as not original to the gun.
Type of Finish: Stainless Steel
Finish Originality: Original, the cylinder pin has been replaced.
Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore, but there is a little stubborn fouling. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 8+/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are a few scattered minor marks and the action shows operational wear. A small dimple has been drilled on the bottom-rear of the barrel for the new cylinder pin's retention screw. The screw heads range from sharp to lightly tool marked with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver is in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

This example is a Ruger Single Seven, it was manufactured in 2014 and is in Fine condition, showing little use. This Ruger Single Seven is chambered in .327 Federal Magnum and has been customized with Altamont grips and a replacement cylinder pin with a retention screw. This revolver is capable of firing .32 H&R Magnum, .32 S&W Long, and .32 S&W cartridges as well. The Single Seven has a 7-round cylinder, with the exception of the capacity and caliber, the 7-shot Ruger Single Seven has the same basic operational characteristics as the New Model Single-Six revolvers. The revolver is built on a rugged frame, and it features stainless steel construction, making it durable and resistant to rust and corrosion. This well made Ruger Single Seven has limited availability and we do not see them very often, go ahead and add this beautifully preserved single action revolver to your collection.
