Sights/Optics: There are no iron sights currently mounted. A Sig Sauer STS-081 mini red dot sight with a killflash is mounted to the picatinny atop of the receiver. The dot lights up and the optic rates in Very Good condition.

Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The forend is a Sig Sauer quad rail. The pistol grip is a standard A2 grip. The muzzle device is a GEMTECH Suppressors flash hider. The stock is a collapsible carbine style stock with a sling ring on the bottom, mounted to a commercial buffer tube. The LOP measures 14.25" at full extension from the face of the trigger to the rear of the butt. The buffer is H marked. The furniture shows minimal handling wear. There are no chips or cracks. This furniture rates in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with some light fouling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are minimal marks other than some surface blemishes on the left side of the upper receiver and subtle operational wear. The pins are unmarred and remain fully functional. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine+ condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This rifle is a hybrid AR build consisting of a complete Rock River Arms LAR-15 lower receiver paired with a complete SIG 516 Gen 2 upper receiver, serial AC2007716. Overall condition is excellent, with approximately 99% of the original matte finish remaining.

Mechanically, the rifle is very strong. The bore rates 9.5 out of 10 with bright surfaces and sharp rifling, indicating light use. The action functions correctly and cycles smoothly, benefiting from the SIG 516 piston system, which is designed to reduce fouling in the receiver and provide consistent operation across a wide range of ammunition. The adjustable gas system adds versatility and allows tuning for different loads or shooting conditions.

The Rock River Arms lower provides a solid and well regarded foundation with standard AR ergonomics and reliable fire control components.
