Sights/Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights. A Pulsar DIGEX C50 Digital scope is mounted atop the receiver via Vortex scope rings. The scope batteries currently do not have a charge so the optic will not turn on.
Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is one piece carbon fiber with a straight comb, smooth semi-pistol grip, smooth forend, and a textured synthetic Limbsaver buttpad. The buttpad has minimal handling wear. The furniture has only light handling wear. The LOP measures 13.25" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with light fouling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its original metal finish. There are no notable blemishes. The screw heads are unmarred and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This custom Howa 1500 is a precision-oriented bolt-action rifle chambered in .308 Winchester. Manufactured by Howa Machinery, the Howa 1500 has earned an excellent reputation for its strong push-feed action, smooth bolt operation, and outstanding accuracy. This example has been upgraded with a lightweight carbon fiber stock, creating a rifle well suited for both field carry and precision shooting.
Chambered in .308 Winchester with a 22 inch barrel, this rifle combines one of the most versatile rifle cartridges ever developed with a modern custom configuration. A Pulsar DIGEX C50 digital scope is mounted atop the receiver in Vortex scope rings, providing advanced digital optic capability. At the time of evaluation, the scope batteries were discharged and the optic would not power on, so its operational status beyond requiring charged batteries could not be verified. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10, indicating excellent internal condition with strong rifling. The action functions correctly.
