Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered walnut with gold Colt medallions. They remain in Excellent condition, with sharp checkering and only the faintest signs of handling.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion or fouling. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This revolver retains 99% of its original metal finish. There are only the most minor handling marks, and the revolver appears to have been meticulously preserved. The action has been zip-tied shut to preserve its high condition, preventing unnecessary wear. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: Due to its preservation measures (zip-tied shut), we have not manipulated the action beyond a visual inspection. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
