Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked with a Rampant Colt logo and, PISTON CARBINE CAL. 5.56 MM LP001610 / COLT DEFENSE HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. / SAFE FIRE”. The rails are “T” marked. The lower is marked with a Cerro Forge mark, the upper is marked with a Colt BAFE forge mark. The barrel is marked, “C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7”.

Barrel Length: 16” M4 Profile barrel, 17.5” with A2 birdcage flash hider.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a folding sight base with an adjustable post set within protective wings. The receiver has a red Trijicon ACOG TA31 mounted on a ARMS QD lever base. The ACOG is in Excellent condition. The Tritum is dead.

Stock Configuration & Condition: his rifle has a free-float monolithic quad rail forend fixed to the receiver, rubberized ErgoGrip, and LMT marked B5 Enhanced Sopmod stock. There are light handling marks throughout. The rail has rubber ladder covers and a Troy foregrip mounted to the bottom. There is a magpul sling loop on the bottom of the forend. The LOP measures 14.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the fully extended buttstock. Overall the furniture is in Very Good to Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The chrome bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The feed ramps are smooth and shiny. The case deflector and A2 birdcage are clean. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The finish shows some handling wear, with some faint marks on the barrel. The action has faint wear. The screw heads are lightly tooled, and the markings are clear. The pins are un marred. Overall the rifle is in Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. This rifle has an adjustable gas system and piston with a BCM Gunfighter charging handle, Wilson Combat single stage tactical trigger, and ambi safety selector.
