Markings: The left side of the milled receiver is marked “National Match MAK-91 7.62x39 JPE Pomona CA.”, factory code “386”, and “NM93 02262”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “Norinco Made in China”. The right side of the receiver is marked “S F” (Safe/Fire). The rear sight is marked “1-8” with “D” for the battle position. The left side of the bolt carrier and right side of the dustcover are marked “02262”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post with a protective hood. The rear sight is a tangent-style leaf sight with "U"-notch adjustable from 100–800 meters and a battle “D” position.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is black polymer. The fixed buttstock has a rear sling bar. The two-piece handguard is smooth, ventilated polymer. The gas tube is ported. The pistol grip is integrated into the buttstock, mimicking the RPK-style furniture. The LOP measures 14.5” from the trigger to the back of the stock. The furniture is in Excellent overall condition, with slight scuffing visible on the grip and buttstock, and little to no handling wear.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: Included is one original, rare 30-round Bakelite Norinco "Humped" magazine, in Very Good–Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is semi-bright, and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. There is stubborn fouling in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains approximately 95% of its original metal finish. There are some light scratches on the dust cover and receiver. There is also minor pitting on the left side of the barrel near the muzzle. The screwheads are sharp, and pins remain unmarred. Markings are crisp and clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included with this rifle is an attached canvas sling in Very Good condition and one highly desirable 30-round Bakelite Norinco "Humped" magazine, considered a rare collector’s item.
