Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece walnut target stock with sculpted grip, carved finger grooves, pointed pommels. There are only light handling marks from storage and handling. There are no visible cracks, chips, or repairs. Overall, the stock rates in Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: Blued with gold line accents.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There are scattered patches of corrosion. In this writer's opinion the bore rates 7/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its original finish. The metal shows only light handling marks with no notable finish loss or corrosion. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp to lightly tool marked. Overall, this pistol rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.

Our Assessment: This cased Spanish Eibar dueling or gentleman’s percussion pistol is a handsome 1982-production black powder target pistol with strong presentation appeal. Built in the classic single-shot muzzleloading format, it features an approximately 10” fluted barrel, fine blade front sight, fixed v-notch rear sight, sculpted walnut target stock with carved finger grooves and a pointed pommel, and a blued finish accented by gold lines. The pistol presents very well, retaining about 99% of its original finish with only light handling marks from storage and handling.
The bore remains bright with sharp rifling, though there are scattered patches of corrosion, rating 7/10 in this writer’s opinion. The markings are clear, the screw heads are sharp to lightly tool marked, and the action functions correctly. This example is made especially desirable by its complete fitted hardwood presentation case with red velvet lining, powder flask, single-cavity bullet mold, nipple wrench, ramrod, round wood cap container, key, and original Banco de Pruebas de Armas de Fuego black powder proof certificate dated July 18, 1982.
