Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a white dot dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a Novak's-style square-notch with two white dots dovetailed and screw-set to the rear of the slide. The top and rear of the slide are serrated to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece G10 Custom with an orange and black pattern and serrations to provide texture. The grips have no notable wear or damage, no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore, but there is a little stubborn fouling. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 8+/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 96% of its metal finish. The balance is primarily in operational wear on the barrel. There is minor handling wear in the grip-strap checkering. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a gray plastic Performance Center case with matching end-label, cable lock, and a total of two 8-round magazine.
Our Assessment: Built by the Smith & Wesson Performance Center, this pistol is not your standard Commander 1911. Lightening cuts and aggressive scale serrations on the slide, scandium alloy frame, skeletonized trigger and hammer, spherical barrel bushing, full-length guide-rod, extended beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety, frontstrap and mainspring housing stippling, bobbed mainspring housing to break up the print while carrying are all features included on a pistol hand-crafted by the gunsmiths of the Performance Center. It doesn't hurt that it looks good, too! This pistol is in Fine condition, showing signs of responsible use. This would make an equally outstanding carry pistol, IDPA competition gun or BBQ gun and wouldn’t be out of place in any 1911 or S&W collection. Please see our photos and good luck!
