Sights / Optics: The sights are a three-dot night sight set. The front sight is a blade with a single lamp dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a square notch with two lamps, dovetailed to the rear of the slide. The lamps have dimmed significantly, barely visible in low-light environments
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a one-piece Sig Sauer pebble-textured black rubber wraparound with finger groove. The grip has minor handling wear. There are no rips or tears. Overall, the grip is in Fine-Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is semi-bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore, but there is scattered stubborn fouling. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 7/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 97% of its metal finish. The balance is mostly in light operational wear. There is minor scuffing on the trigger guard consistent with using the included holster. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a serial-matching black plastic Sig Sauer case with Sig Sauer holster and a total of four magazines, one flush-fit 6-round and three 7-round with floorplate extensions.
Our Assessment: The P238 HD is a micro-compact .380 ACP pistol with a stainless steel frame and slide. The size and operation are very similar to the Colt Mustang, itself influenced heavily by the 1911. The safety can be engaged with the hammer down or up, allowing for carry in safe condition 3 or cocked and locked. The single-action trigger is crisp, allowing for a better trigger pull than most comparably compact pistols and despite its size, the frame-mounted safety is easy to engage and disengage despite its positive detent. While some prefer 9mm to the .380 ACP, modern advances in ammunition design make the .380 a perfectly suitable cartridge for self-defense and allow the frame to be slightly smaller, aiding concealment. This is a great pistol, in Fine condition, for carry that can be concealed even in warm-weather clothing. Please see our photos and good luck!
