Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece white synthetic panels adhered to a wood block. The grips are engraved at their tops. There is light handling wear. There are no cracks or chips. Overall the grips are in Excellent condition as Custom.
Type of Finish: Blued, Silver Inlaid, Case Color loading lever and hammer. Engraved.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. This revolver appears to be unfired. In this writer’s opinion this bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 99% of its original finish. The is light storage wear. There is little to no handling or operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall this revolver is in Excellent to Like New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box Paperwork and Accessories: This revolver includes an oiled walnut presentation case with Colt marked capper, brass powder flask, cleaning rod, screwdriver, key, single cavity bullet mold, a pistol sleeve, and a copy of "Paterson Colt Pistol Variations" by Phillips and Wilson in the bottom case drawer.
Our Assessment: This cased, engraved, and silver-inlaid Uberti 1836 Colt Texas Paterson is a striking reproduction of one of the most historically important early Colt revolver designs. The Paterson was Colt’s first commercially produced revolver platform, and the Texas Paterson variant is especially associated with the early days of repeating handgun development and frontier use. This 1985 Uberti example captures the distinctive features of the pattern, including the 7 1/2” octagon barrel, folding trigger, single-action percussion mechanism, hammer-notch rear sight, and elegant grip profile. The revolver is further elevated by its engraved treatment, silver inlays, case colored hammer and loading lever, and white synthetic grip panels engraved at the tops.
This example remains in Excellent to Like New condition, retaining about 99% of its original finish with only light storage wear and little to no handling or operational wear. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and appears unfired, rating 10/10 in this writer’s opinion. The screw heads are sharp, the markings are clear, and the action functions correctly. The revolver is accompanied by an attractive oiled walnut presentation case with accessories, including a Colt-marked capper, brass powder flask, cleaning rod, screwdriver, key, single-cavity bullet mold, pistol sleeve, and a copy of Paterson Colt Pistol Variations by Phillips and Wilson housed in the lower case drawer. This is a handsome and well-appointed Paterson-style set that would make an excellent addition to a Colt, Uberti, black powder, early revolver, or Western arms collection.
