Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is two piece wood with a straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip, checkered forend, and a serrated synthetic Pachmayr White Line buttpad. The buttpad shows moderate handling wear. The furniture shows scattered pressure dings, scuffs, and scratches. The LOP measures 14" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. There are a pair of cracks at the left and bottom rear of the forend. The furniture rates in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with faint wear. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 80% of its original metal finish. The finish shows edge wear, some rub marks, and scattered scratches. The screw heads are unmarred and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this shotgun rates in Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Produced by Browning and manufactured by Fabrique Nationale Herstal in Belgium, the Auto-5 is one of the most iconic semi-automatic shotguns ever built. Designed by John M. Browning, the long-recoil-operated Auto-5 revolutionized shotgun design and remained in production for nearly a century. The Light Twelve variant offered reduced weight while retaining the durability and reliability that made the Auto-5 legendary.
