Our Assessment: This pistol presents in outstanding overall condition, retaining approximately 99% of its original blue finish. The metal surfaces are deep and even with minimal handling evidence, and the pistol displays the clean, classic lines that define Colt's Government Model production of the late 1980s. The inclusion of the original box and factory paperwork significantly enhances completeness and collector appeal.

Mechanically, the pistol is excellent. The bore rates a perfect 10 out of 10, bright with sharp rifling and minimal visible wear. The action functions correctly with smooth cycling, proper lockup, and consistent trigger operation.
