Choke: The barrels are threaded for Optima Bore chokes currently installed FULL over Modified. Also includes Cylinder, Improved Cylinder and Improved Modified. 5 chokes total.
Sights: The front sight is a Bradley style white bead sight. There is also a small silver mid bead. The rib is finely checkered.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is a two-piece checkered select walnut with a traditional slab side Schnable forend and a semi pistol grip, fluted straight comb, with right handed palm swell . The length of pull is adjustable via the trigger shoe currently set to 14 5/8ths". The drop at comb 1.5" the drop at heel is 2.25". The cast is right handed and the shotgun weighs 7lbs 14OZ. The wood shows some scattered light lines and a few small compressions. The tip of the forend shows a small nick. There is a small but notable marr on the belly of the stock and a small scratch on the right side of the wrist. There are no chips or cracks. The butt pad is pliable. Overall the wood is in Fine condition.
Type of Finish: Blued and coin with a gold toned trigger.
Finish Originality: Original.
Bore Condition: The bores are mirror bright with no erosion or pitting. The bores show a few very minor lines from use and some barely visible plastic fouling. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 9.75/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains approximately 98% of its metal finish. The receiver shows only minor handling. The barrel set shows a few minor scattered marks and some wear on the block and lower barrel that is concealed when assembled. The trigger shows finish loss. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The action locks up tight with no play. The safety does not set automatically but functions properly when set manually. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
