Markings:  The left side of the slide is marked “PIETRO BERETTA GARDONE V.T.-MADE IN ITALY PATENTED BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK. MD”.  The left side of the frame is marked “C45178U CAT.1970 CC PSF”.  The right side of the barrel is marked “CAL.22 LR”.  The right side of the slide is marked “WARNING: RETRACT SLIDE TO SEE IS LOADED. DOES NOT FIRE WITHOUT MAGAZINE”. The right side of the frame is marked “PB 87 CHEETAH-CAL. 22L.R, READ MANUAL BEFORE USE”.

Sights / Optics:  The front sight is a white dotted blade integral to the slide. The rear sight is a two white dot rectangular notch rear sight dovetailed to the slide. Three white dot sighting system. 

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered wood with Beretta tridents inlaid on the right and “PB” inlaid on the left panel.  The front and back straps are serrated. The checkering is crisp and the peaks are semi sharp. Overall the grips are in Like New condition. 

Magazine Quantity & Condition: This pistol includes two 10rd .22LR magazines in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition:  The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. The feed ramp is smooth and shiny. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.  

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The finish shows only minor storage wear. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear.  Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent to Like New condition. 

Mechanics:  The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
