This antique early 1900s Bulgarian naval officer’s sword features a straight 31-inch steel blade with a distinct cruciform cross-section. The four-sided ceremonial blade is decorated with beautiful acid-etched frosted panels showcasing elaborate floral scrollwork. The blade fits cleanly into its original dark leather scabbard body, which is fitted with an engraved brass throat collar. A historical leather frog attachment with an intact oval brass retention stud remains securely wrapped around the upper scabbard mouth.
