Very Good Condition. Some sharpening to the blade edges. Some cleaning, scratching, pitting, and spot patina to the blade. Some reddish and dark discoloration to the lower right side of the handle. Features a 5 7/8" double edge dagger blade with "NEVER DRAW ME WITHOUT REASON / NOR SHEATH ME WITHOUT HONOUR" etched along the left side with surrounding floral scroll accents. Stamped at the ricasso with its maker, "J. NOYLAND / SHEFFIELD". Boasts a nickel silver full guard and a gorgeous nickel silver cutlery style handle. Missing sheath. Scarce US Civil War period English made dirk.
